Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema reacted on social networks to the words of the coach of the France team Didier Deschamps on why the player missed the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Earlier, the specialist said that Benzema couldn’t take part in the tournament as he didn’t have time to recover from an injury he received as part of Real Madrid.
Benzema posted a clipping of Deschamps’ interview on his social media, signing it with the phrase “what impudence”, and also accompanying the post with a clown emoji.
Argentina won the World Cup by beating the French in the final. Benzema, 35, has made 27 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions this season, scoring 18 goals.
Real Madrid will play away to Barcelona in the second leg of the Spanish Cup semi-final on April 5. The matches of the Spanish Cup can be watched on the federal channel , as well as on the thematic channels of the holding company and on the sites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
