Premier League, Serie A and La Liga clubs are interested in Shakhtar’s goalkeeper
CEO of Shakhtar Sergey Palkin does not exclude that in the summer the club can sell the goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin.
“We all see interest in Trubin. We understand that this story may end with its sale in the summer. We weigh these risks.”
“But we have been negotiating for a long time regarding the purchase of goalkeeper Riznyk. Two years already. Couldn’t agree. But now we have reached an agreement.
Earlier there was information that Trubin could move to a club from the European top league in the summer transfer window for 12-15 million euros. Trubin was on the list of interests of Sevilla, Tottenham, Juventus, and two more Serie A clubs – Udinese and Sassuolo. Sevilla is ready to offer 5 million euros for Trubin.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper has been playing for Shakhtar’s first team since 2020. This season, Trubin has 24 matches in all competitions, 26 goals conceded and 7 clean sheets. Trubin’s contract with Shakhtar is valid until the summer of 2024.
