Blue-yellows do not lose chances for first place in the group
The Ukrainian under-21 team led by Ruslan Rotan defeated their peers from North Macedonia in the selection for the youth Euro 2023 with a score of 4:0. The match was held in Istanbul.
The first half ended without goals scored, and in the second half of the game Bogdan Vyunnik, Georgy Sudakov and Vladislav Vanat scored for the blue-and-yellows, who scored a brace.
Ukraine ranks second in the Group H standings, ahead of Serbia, the Faroe Islands, North Macedonia and Armenia, but losing the first line to France.
The winners of the qualifying groups, the best team among the second-place winners, as well as the four winners of the play-off, which will play eight other teams that have taken second positions, will advance to the European Championship.
In the next match, Ukraine on June 9 will meet against the French team. The start of the match is at 19:45.
