The new owners of the champions in Italy have great plans for the development of the team.

The new Milan owner wants to build a new arena on the outskirts of the city without Inter. This was reported by MilanNews. Club owner Jerry Cardinale has already discussed the project with the mayor of Sesto San Giovanni and representatives of the Populous studio, who have developed the layout of the new arena.

Italy’s newly minted champions wanted to do the construction alone, and thus abandoned the plan of a common arena at Inter, tired of the slowness of the Milan municipality. The combined option was reportedly stuck hard due to heavy bureaucracy. More than three thousand amendments were submitted to the stadium project.

Therefore, the new owners of Milan decided to build an arena in the area of Sesto San Giovanni. This is the site of the former Falck steel mill, which is privately owned. RedBird plans to build an arena with at least 70,000 seats.

Remember that now Milan, along with Inter, play at the San Siro stadium, built 95 years ago. This arena was planned to be demolished and a new stadium was built in its place.
