The club is dissatisfied with the decisions of the referee in the match with Alexandria
President Minaya Valery Peresoliak expressed indignation at the refereeing of the match of the 17th round of the UPL between Minay and Alexandria (1:1). Peresoliak sharply criticized the team of referees headed by Alexei Derevinsky.
“Now the emotions have subsided a little, but it was impossible to calmly observe the actions of the referee during the match. And you don’t have to be a fan of Minay to admit a series of blunders by the refereeing team in the match against Alexandria.”
“Of course, the hottest moment is the offside goal scored against us. This is a simple episode, there were no dynamics, and linesman Alexander Kholodinsky should have noticed that the Alexandria player was behind the backs of Minay’s defenders. Or maybe he noticed. Then why didn’t they announce it? It’s funny because Kozhushko himself saw that he was offside. And, it seems, he did not immediately believe that he would be allowed to complete the transfer.
“It turns out that the winner of the match is determined not by the teams, but by the judges. In our case, this is not an exaggeration at all. The illegal ball was scored in the 84th minute. All this time we were winning 1-0 thanks to Vadim Vitenchuk’s goal. And they could well bring the game to victory. But we had to be content with one point.”
“Such judicial lawlessness kills all the motivation of both the team and the management. Transcarpathia is not an industrial region. It is already difficult for us to keep a club of the UPL level. But we are trying to create some conditions for the players. However, after such games, the motivation to keep the football club really disappears. And for what? To watch the referees kill your team on the football field? And are we the only ones? If you mount a video of all refereeing mistakes in the 17th round, it will be enough for an equivalent match – 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Then why do we need such refereeing?
A similar position was expressed by the coach of the Transcarpathian club Volodymyr Sharan. He accused the referees of the meeting of the lack of qualification, and also spoke about the UPL, which does not involve the VAR system in Minay’s matches.
Minai is in the 15th position in the UPL standings. On March 19, Sharan’s team will play with Kolos.
