Arne Slot assesses his team’s chances of reaching the 1/4 finals of the Europa League.
Feyenoord head coach Arne Slot shared his expectations from the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League against Shakhtar (the first game – 1:1).
According to the specialist, the Dutch club will do everything to reach the 1/4 finals of the tournament.
“I don’t know how many fans think that the match against Shakhtar is less important than Sunday’s match against Ajax. In any case, this contradicts our position. Feyenoord can reach the quarter-finals of UEL for the first time in 20 years. That would be a great achievement for us if we can do it.”

Slot assessed his team’s chances of advancing to the next stage.
“The match in Poland seemed to create an image that Shakhtar is not a very good team. To make it clear to everyone, I don’t think so. They are a very strong opponent who came from the Champions League, Rennes went through. In addition, open three players who missed the first meeting due to disqualification.
Tomorrow will be more difficult than last week. At a party, we did almost everything right. I watched this game twice – both with touch and with the ball we were good. Even though we are very good, we just draw. That means we have to be as good as tomorrow night to continue playing in the tournament,” Slot said.
Recall that the online broadcast of the match will be available on ISPORT.ua, which will be available tomorrow, March 16, at 19:45 Kyiv time.
