Tite accuses Neto and files a criminal complaint against presenter

At the time, Neto used the following words to refer to the technician: disgraceful, shameless, son of a bitch, dumb, idiot, imbecile and bum. Three months after the incident, Tite, who remains unemployed after leaving the Brazilian national team, thought that filing a criminal complaint was the recommended thing to do.

According to the coach’s defense: “The seven expressions – some of them uttered repeatedly – ​​form an unmistakable set of offenses, whatever the context in which they are uttered. They have a high pejorative character and have no other meaning than to affect the honor of the plaintiff [Tite]offended in his dignity (respectability) and his decorum”.

Finally, Tite’s representatives ask that Neto suffer the sanctions stipulated in articles 140 and 141 of the Penal Code. The expected penalty is six months imprisonment or a fine. However, this can be increased by one-third if the crime is committed in the presence of several people, or by a means that facilitates its disclosure. At the time, Neto’s comments were reproduced more than 2.5 million times on Youtube.
