According to Il Giorno, Bologna sporting director Giovanni Sartori intends to land the Russian midfielder. In 2020, Sartori was working at Atalanta, and it was he who initiated the transfer of Alexei from Lokomotiv Moscow to the Bergamo club. Atalanta are considering a loan option with the possibility of buying the player.
Miranchuk has been playing for the Italian side since 2020. He has made 56 appearances for the Bergamasques in all competitions, scoring 9 goals and providing 8 assists.
