Fortaleza beats Flamengo and wins first victory in Brasileirão

Even playing away from home, Fortaleza was better and beat Flamengo in a busy match, valid for the ninth round of the Brazilian Championship

This Sunday, the 5th, the Flamengo visited the Strength in a match valid for the ninth round of the Brazilian Championship. With both teams starting the competition not performing all that was expected of them and they needed the win to respond to criticism and start climbing the table.

Despite the bad results in the Brasileirão, both Flamengo and Fortaleza are doing well in the Libertadores dispute. Ranking in first and second place, respectively, from different groups, the two teams are in the round of 16 of the main competition in South America.

THE GAME

After being better in part of the match, Fortaleza was rewarded in the end and reached the goal that guaranteed its first victory in the Brazilian Championship. After another wrong pass, this time from Filipe LuisLeão do Pici recovered the ball, advanced on the left with Romero, which ended but stopped at Hugo. On the rebound, Hercules finished with a left-handed kick to give the win to the Ceará team.
