Belarus drew with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan beat Slovakia in the Nations League

National team Belarus football failed to defeat the national team Azerbaijan in the second round match of the Nations League.

The match of the 3rd group of division C took place on neutral ground in Serbian Novi Sad and ended with the score of 0:0.

In the 31st minute, the referee did not count Azerbaijani defender Azar Salahli’s goal after using VAR, staring the player offside. Azerbaijani midfielder Gismat Aliyev received a red card in the 84th minute.

In March, UEFA banned the Belarusian national team and Belarusian clubs from playing international matches in the country.

In a parallel match of this group Slovakia hosted Kazakhstan and lost – 0:1. The only goal was scored by Aslan Darabaev.

After two rounds, Kazakhstan has 6 points, Slovakia has 3 points, Belarus and Azerbaijan – 1 each.

Belarus will host Kazakhstan on June 10, on the same day Azerbaijan will play at home with Slovakia.

Within Group 1 of Division D, two matches took place. Latvia at home was stronger Liechtenstein (1-0) thanks to Artur Zyuzin’s goal in the 72nd minute.

Andorra at home played a draw with Moldova — 0:0. The guests of the 43rd minute played in the minority after the elimination of striker Viktor Stina.

Latvia has 6 points after 2 rounds, Moldova has 4, Andorra has 1 point, Liechtenstein has 0.

In the next round, on June 10, Moldova will host Latvia and Andorra will face Liechtenstein at home.
