Former CEO of Khimki Vladimir Gabulov said that the lack of consistent decisions and a vector for development became the reason for his departure from the club near Moscow.
Gabulov led Khimki from December 2021 to May 2022, the specialist left the position for family reasons.
– How do you like the current Khimki? You left the club with a good squad and ambitions. Now it seems that the project has no development vector, decisions are made quite impulsively.
– You said well. Current events indicate that there is no vector for development, strategy, coherence, stability. All these factors were the reason for my departure. That’s not what I want to do. Anything to do with development – yes, when the decisions aren’t entirely consistent, I won’t say whether they’re correct or not – that’s bad, football doesn’t tolerate instability, sudden movements, dishonesty in relation to the game. The things that happen there or have happened there do not paint a football club at all, at least. At most, it is difficult to achieve a football result, the progress of football players, coaches, to attract fans to the stands due to inconsistent decisions, Gabulov told .
