Kane became the 72nd player in football history to reach this milestone. It took 71 matches before reaching the 50 goal mark for the national team. By comparison, Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo needed 114 caps to score 50 goals, while Messi took 107 caps for Argentina.
In the next round, the German team will play away with the Hungarian team, while the English team will host the Italians. Both games will be played on June 11.
