Pezzolano is no longer coach of Cruzeiro. After the elimination to América-MG in the Mineiro Championship, last Sunday, the 19th, during his press conference, the coach warned that he will no longer remain in charge of Raposa. According to the Celeste commander, he was not 100% dedicated to the club and needed a career break. Therefore, he chose to take a different course than was expected.

Pezzolano revealed that he will not manage any other club in Brazil during the year 2023; coach said goodbye on social media!
“They are saying that I can go to another Brazilian team. Do you call me? Yes, call me. Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Middle Eastern teams call me, but my family and I are going to continue living here in BH, resting my head. From July, (we will) go somewhere, but if something arrives before that, it could happen. I promise the fans that this year I won’t work here in Brazil.
