The referee added that in Russia, even without foreigners, there are enough high-quality judges.
– We, alas, treat them … well, then … not entirely respectful. We still believe, and in all areas, that everything is better in Europe. And they judge better there. But this is not the case. Moreover, arbitration is a specific profession. We all make mistakes – the Brits and Spaniards in their leagues and in European competitions. Another thing is that errors should not be so obvious that everyone will talk about them.
We consider: we made a mistake, therefore our judges are bad. But they talk about it everywhere – in Spain about local judges and in England. Well, there would be no arbitration, so what to talk about, right? This, of course, is an interesting topic,” Karasev added.
