The parties agreed to all terms
Winger Miner Mikhail Mudrik close to switching to German Bayer. Clubs from Donetsk and Leverkusen have already agreed on the transfer of the 21-year-old Ukrainian.
At the same time, representatives of Bayer have long agreed on all the terms of the contract with the player himself, and now negotiations have ended with Shakhtar.
Earlier it was reported that Mikhail Mudrik had already passed a medical examination in Leverkusen, but the parties could not agree on the financial side of the issue.
Shakhtar’s current contract with Mudrik is valid until 2026. In the 2021/22 season, the winger played in 19 Pitmen’s games, scoring two goals and providing nine assists.
The 2021/22 season in Ukraine was ended ahead of schedule due to the full-scale invasion of the Russian army into Ukrainian territories. Shakhtar took first place in the final standings.
Bayer finished third in the Bundesliga and will play in the Champions League next season.
