After a complicated start, Dodi cites “learning” from the Santos squad

At Santos since the beginning of the season, Dodi recognizes a difficult moment and understands the distrust of the club, but cites learning for Peixão to get well in the Brasileirão

Hired at the beginning of the year to reinforce the saints, dodi became one of the main pieces of the team commanded by Odair Hellmann. An absolute starter since his arrival, the player stood out and gained the coach’s confidence, even during a very troubled moment and full of oscillations at the club.

In an interview withGE”, the steering wheel spoke about expectations and projections for the remainder of the season. Despite a disappointing start with an early drop in Paulistan, the team remains concentrated to continue in the other competitions on the calendar. In particular, Dodi dealt with the preparation for the Brasileirão.

After a complicated start, the player mentions that the period is one of learning. “We are aware of our difficulties, but we are working on when the Brasileirão starts, which is a very difficult championship, with quality teams that do not give up. I think this period is serving as a learning experience in many aspects for us to get well”, said Dodi.

In addition, the midfielder assured that the team is training and focused on the next steps, even if the start of the season has not been the way they had hoped. “There is a distrust of what we present at Paulista, they are on the back foot, but what I can say is that everyone is working”he stated.

Finally, Dodi told about the preparation for the Brazilian Championship, when Odair Hellmann promoted some tactical changes in the team, which, apparently, were approved by the defensive midfielder. “Our team has evolved a lot in these trainings. The team has worked hard. It is up to the teacher to choose the tactical question”concluded the player.
