The Frankfurt public prosecutor’s office closed the drug possession case against the president on Thursday »Eintracht Peter Fischer told Bild, citing the department.
In early February, German media reported that in addition to Fischer and his wife, his eldest and youngest sons were under investigation. The youngest son, who is 13, did drugs at school with a friend.
During the investigation, police searched Fischer’s apartment. According to the prosecution, the remains of the drug were found on the bedside table.
Fischer has been president of Eintracht since 2000.
“Eintracht” after 25 rounds is sixth in the standings of the German championship, gaining 40 points.
