Andrey Santos reveals the emotion of playing with the idol Casemiro: “A dream”

Summoned for the first time to the main Brazilian national team, Andrey Santos, midfielder for Vasco, opened the game about playing alongside his idol Casemiro: “Living a dream”

At the age of 18, Andrew Santos lives an experience that every young player would like to have. Summoned to the Brazilian Team main, steering wheel Basque prepares to face the Morocco this Saturday, the 25th, and trains alongside athletes who have always been a reference for him. Including one of his great idols: casemiro.

“It is an incredible experience. Dream come true, I’m very happy. I feel at home, they welcomed me very well. Being at Casemiro’s side, at the side of an idol, is a dream for me. I’m living a dream, and it’s helping me a lot. And I hope to be able to repay him on the field for his help and the experience he gave me too”, said the player at a press conference.

In February, Andrey was disputing the U-20 South American Tournament and was the captain and top scorer of the team, but said that now the challenge is different. “It’s different now, isn’t it? It’s the main one, as I said, it’s a boy’s dream. Every Brazilian child dreams of representing their country. So I am very happy for this moment that I am living”replied the steering wheel.

In addition to being very promising, the Vasco player shows a lot of versatility and shows that he has no preference for a midfield position. “I feel comfortable playing in both positions. Since the base I’ve been playing first and second midfielder. The first midfielder has a difference, which is a little further from the goal. From the second I am happy to be closer to the goal”, stated.
