“Due to the circumstances and at the request of Ukrainian specialist Yuriy Vernidub, the FC Sheriff leadership and the head coach of the club stopped cooperating by mutual agreement of the parties.
Yuri Nikolayevich Vernidub became the head coach of our club in the winter of 2021. In the autumn of 2021, he led FC Sheriff in the group stage of the Champions League and in the spring part of the European competition, where he played in the knockout round of Europa League.
Yuri Nikolayevich Vernidub will remain forever in the history of the club, “the club said in a statement.
