Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina advanced to the second round of the doubles tournament WTA 1000 V Miami (USA).
Together with Irina Begu from Romania, the Ukrainian beat the Japanese duet Syuko Aoyama / En Shibahara. In the first game, the Japanese were stronger, but in the second set, Kalinina and Begu defeated their rivals. At the super tie-break, Angelina and Irina were stronger again.
Recall Kalinina dropped out of the singles tournament in Miami. The first racket of Ukraine in the second round lost to Sofia Kenin from the USA.
In doubles in Miami, Lyudmila Kichenok continues her performance, who plays with Elena Ostapenko from Latvia. Nadezhda Kichenok, paired with Kenin, lost in the first round.
