Ukrainian youth team will play with the French tomorrow
Forward of the youth team of Ukraine U-21 Bogdan Vyunnik shared his expectations from the match with France in the selection for Euro 2023.
The Ukrainian youth team is preparing for the match with the French after a crushing victory over North Macedonia (4:0). Vyunnik scored the first goal in that game.
“The game against North Macedonia was one of the most difficult as the team played very compactly and prevented us from creating chances. I am grateful to God that I was able to score an important goal that helped open the game and bring it to victory, ”said the forward.
“Now, in such a difficult time for our country, the motivation is just crazy. Our team is solid. Everyone supports each other, and this is transferred to the field. We dedicate our last victory to all Ukrainians, especially our heroes who defend Ukraine at the forefront.”
“For France, we tune in as for the final. We still have a chance to come out from the first place in the group. It will be very difficult. They had constant playing practice and are in better shape, but our motivation is higher. In this game, dedication and great desire can help us.”
Ukraine and France will play tomorrow, June 9. The match starts at 21:45.
