Ukraine U-19 defeated the Netherlands, but did not qualify for Euro 2022 due to the number of yellow cards

Serbia qualified for the European Championship

National team of Ukraine under 19 failed to pass the stage of the elite round of selection for Euro 2022.

Vladimir Yezersky’s team beat the Netherlands 2:1 in the last round match, but this was not enough to enter the European championship.

Ernest Poku put the Dutch ahead in the first half, but in the second half the blue-yellows bounced back thanks to the efforts of Eduard Kozik and Kirill Popov. From the 47th minute, the Ukrainians played in the majority.

Ukraine scored an equal number of points with the first Serbia, which has the same number of goals scored and conceded, and the face-to-face meeting with the Serbs ended in a draw.

The Blue-Yellows missed out on the first line due to more yellow cards received than the Serbs, which is why Serbia went to the European Under-19 Championship.

Earlier, Jeziorski’s team beat Norway (3:2) and played with a score of 1:1 with the Serbs.
