CSKA midfielder Ivan Obliakov on air MATCH PREMIER shared his emotions from the call to Russian national team for friendly matches with the teams of Iran and Iraq.
On March 23, the Russians drew with the Iranian team (1:1) in Tehran, and on Sunday they beat the Iraqi team (2:0) in Saint Petersburg.
– I know a lot of guys from the Russian national team, they played in youth teams. There were no particular problems. I liked everything, good atmosphere. We played well with Iraq, we could score more. Everything’s good. There is motivation, it’s always nice to be called up to the national team, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s an official match or a friendly match, ”Oblyakov told the Receptura program for the MATCH FIRST.
