Here is the Viola Club report: “ACF announces that player Salvatore Sirigu underwent surgery to re-insert his Achilles tendon last night after an injury sustained during training last Saturday. The procedure was performed using a minimally invasive technique by Prof. Attilio Santucci. was completely successful. Salvatore will return to Florence in the next few hours to begin the rehabilitation process.”
