France international to sign Blancos on five-year contract
Real and Monaco agreed on all the terms of the deal for the transfer of the midfielder Aureliena Tchouameni. The transfer amount will be 80 million euros plus bonuses.
Blancos’ contract with Tchuameni will be for five years. To complete the transition, the 22-year-old midfielder has to undergo a medical examination. In the fight for Aurélien, Real were ahead of PSG and Liverpool.
It was previously reported that Tchouameni’s transfer to Real Madrid was being delayed due to tax issues that Monaco could face.
Tchouameni played in 50 Monaco games last season, scoring five goals and providing three assists. The midfielder also has ten matches for the French national team.
Real Madrid signed Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger last week. The Blancos have extended their contract with midfielder Luka Modric today.
Real Madrid became the champion of Spain in 2021/22 and defeated Liverpool (1:0) in the Champions League final. Monaco finished third in the French Championship.
