The German club intend to sack current head coach Bruno Labbadia. Stuttgart currently sits 18th, last place in the German championship standings.
Gisdol worked with the railway workers from October 2021 until the end of winter 2022. Under the guidance of a specialist, the Moscow club played 12 matches in which the team won three, drew three and six losses.
Gisdol from 2005 to 2007 worked in the second team of Stuttgart. Also in Germany, he directed Ulm, Hoffenheim, Hamburg and Cologne.
