Petra wins 30th career title
Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova became winner of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami (USA).
In the final, Kvitova defeated Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan in straight sets. The key to the fight was a long tie-break in the first set, which the Czech won 16-14. Moreover, Kvitova played five set points. Petra won the second game without any problems, taking two submissions from her opponent.
Kvitova won her 30th career title and ended her opponent’s unbeaten streak, which had won 13 in a row before this final.
Two weeks ago, Rybakina became the champion at the WTA 1000 tournament in Indian Wells.
