Kharkiv team are in the middle of the standings
Acting head coach of Metalist 1925 Edmure commented on the defeat from SC Dnipro-1 (0:3) in the 19th round of the UPL.
“Two penalties against the same team? I will not focus on the actions of the referee, I have been in Ukraine for a long time and I understand everything perfectly. I do not want to talk about it”.
“There was a good game until the 71st minute, after the conceded goal it went completely differently. We had chances, but we couldn’t convert them. As I said before, the game was a success for us in the first 70 minutes…”.
“We stuck to our game plan, expected to play on the counter, had some good chances where we had to score.”
“I am pleased with the guys, they came out as one and showed that we have a future, and we are building a team for the future. As for self-giving, I have no complaints. We need to work on implementation, we need to score our moments, ”summed up the coach.
During the meeting, the referee Oleksandr Omelchenko appointed two penalties against the Kharkiv team. Both 11-meter shots were realized by Artem Dovbik.
Metalist 1925 is in ninth position with 21 points. In the 20th round of the championship of Ukraine, the Kharkiv club on April 9 will meet Kolos on the road.
