Athletistic/Football. According to sports lawyer Andrey Knyazev, footballer Rai Vlut, who was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in the Netherlands, will be able to continue playing for Ural Yekaterinburg.
As Knyazev noted, Russia practically does not extradite its citizens convicted abroad, and therefore Vloot will not encounter any problems playing in Russia. However, he may be limited in his ability to travel to Western countries.
The lawyer also noted that the only restriction for Vlut is that he does not travel to the Netherlands, where he risks being arrested and sent to prison. However, if the player remains in Russia, he will be able to play for his team and actively participate in matches.
