Athletistic / Football. Russian Football Union (RFU) President Alexander Dyukov shared his opinion on the work of the head of the refereeing department Pavel Kamantsev. According to Dyukov, the number of refereeing errors has decreased in the RPL.

“An objective and important criterion is the number of uncorrected key errors.

If we look at the statistics for the number of uncorrected errors for 20 rounds from last season and the current season, we will see a positive trend. Last season there were 48 errors. If I remember correctly, that’s 2.4 errors per lap. This season, 35 errors – 1.75 per lap.

This suggests that there is a positive trend. Yes, judges still make mistakes, but mistakes are inevitable. Although that shouldn’t be an excuse.

We need to work to reduce the number of key bugs not fixed by VAR. Our intermediate goal is no more than one error on average per lap,” Sport-Express Dyukov quotes.
