Defender CSKA Egor Noskov spoke about the victory over Fakel (2-0) in the WORLD RPL 21st round away match, noting the team’s tactic of keeping the scoreline in the second half.
– Great atmosphere, it’s always a pleasure to play with such support from the supporters, the occupation of the stands. It doesn’t matter that they are against us. It always gives momentum. Easier to play, less excitement.
– At the start of the second half with Fakel, CSKA sank. But you came out – and calmly put the pressure on! How do you like the game?
— The ground is very heavy, loose. The lawn seems to be very soft. We played according to the score, from the defense, we saved our forces to have enough for the end.
– Because of what sank so immediately after the break?
— It’s normal that at some point the team backed up a little, on the defensive, in order to save energy for the end. They would have continued to press – in the end somewhere there would have been a lack of concentration, maybe they would have missed,” Sport24 quoted Noskov as saying.
CSKA are in fourth place in the WORLD RPL rankings with 38 points.
