Journalists learned about the reluctance of four Premier League clubs to play abroad.
The Ukrainian Football Premier League is due to start on August 20. In the 2022/23 season, 16 clubs will participate in it, playing 30 against in two rounds. This was reported by Profootball Digital.
Just that the season will start on time is still unknown, because the league will not reach a unified decision on where the championship matches will be held. It will be recalled that earlier there was information that the country’s leadership was against playing abroad.
To do this, you will need to issue a large number of permits to travel outside of Ukraine for a long time. And such actions could cause a wave of discontent among the population, who are forced to endure all the hardships of Russia’s aggression.
Then they decided to make an exception only for participants of European competitions. Shakhtar, Dynamo, Dnipro-1, Zorya and Vorskla want to play abroad to take advantage of high-quality foreign players.
However, some clubs oppose such discrimination. According to journalists, there are four such teams – Kolos, Alexandria, Kryvbas and Rukh.
