Manchester city set a new record unbeaten home match streak V Champions League for English clubs.
The townspeople beat Bayern in the first quarter-final (3:0). Pep Guardiola’s unbeaten streak has reached 25 matches, of which Man City have won 23. The townspeople surpassed Arsenal’s achievement of 24 home meetings.
Also in a duel with Bayern, striker Erling Haaland scored his 45th goal of the season in all competitions. The Norwegian became the first Premier League player to achieve this mark.
The second leg between City and Bayern will take place on 19 April. The Citizens will play their next match on April 15 against Leicester in the Premier League.
