Following its reformulation in the sports area, Rede Globo dismissed two more employees who spent more than 20 years linked to the company. It’s the reporter Regis Rosingand the commentator Mauricio Noriegawho were 33 and 21 years old, respectively, participating in the broadcaster’s sports staff.

In a note, the broadcaster stated that the decision was taken because of the country’s economic and business situation: “As part of the transformation process it has been going through in recent years and in line with its strategy, the company maintains cost discipline and investments in important growth initiatives“, he stated.

After the news, Régis still didn’t comment on the subject, unlike Noriega, who said he was proud of his trajectory, and thanked his teammates: “I would like to thank the almost 21 years of experience at SporTV, which gave me the opportunity to be the professional I am today. I commented on two Cup finals. I am proud of what I have built, always being ethical, correct and faithful to my agenda: professionalism and righteousness“, he completed.

Hired in 2002 by the broadcaster to participate in the closed channel group, SporTV, the commentator participated in several programs on the grid, such as “Bem Amigos”, “Tá na Área”, among others. On open TV he had few chances, but participated in the sports part of “Bom Dia São Paulo” between 2006 and 2013.
