The list is dominated by Liverpool players – six people. Three more players represent Manchester City.
The PFA Team of the Season was:

- Mohamed Salah (Liverpool);
- Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United);
- Sadio Mane (Liverpool).
Manchester City became the champion of England, ahead of Liverpool by one point after 38 rounds.
The PFA is the world’s oldest football union with over 5,000 members.
Recall that Rudiger spent his last season with Chelsea – in June, Real Madrid announced the signing of the German defender.
