Real Madrid head coach Carlo Anchelotti commented on the forthcoming second leg of the 1/4 finals of the Champions League against Chelsea.
“We are fine, motivated as always. These are important matches in an important tournament. We have to play our best, play our best.”
“At this club we are very clear about what we have to do, which is to always play to the end with all the energy we have. We may be lucky enough to play another semi-final and another final, but we have a goal to go step by step. If we reach the semi-finals, then we have done a good job.”
Real Madrid beat Chelsea 2-0 in the first game. Ukrainians Mikhail Mudrik and Andrei Lunin did not appear on the field.
The second leg will be played today, April 18. The start is at 22:00. The bout will be served by a team of referees led by Italian Daniele Orsato.
