Inter at home played a draw with Benfica in the second leg of the 1/4 finals Champions League – 3:3.
Simone Inzaghi’s team took the lead in the 14th minute thanks to Nicolò Barella’s accurate shot. Benfica bounced back before the break with the efforts of Fredrik Aursnes.
In the middle of the second half, Lautaro Martinez returned the advantage to the Nerazzurri. In the 78th minute, Joaquin Correa scored Inter’s third goal.
However, the hosts failed to keep the victory. At the end of the meeting, António Silva and Petar Musa returned parity to the scoreboard.
The first match of the confrontation ended with the victory of Inzaghi’s team – 2:0. Thus, Inter reached the 1/2 finals of the Champions League, where they will play with Milan.
Real Madrid and Manchester City will also play in the 1/2 finals. The semi-finals are scheduled for May 9-10, the second legs are scheduled for May 16-17.
