“Another season ended with many matches, where I could always be available to the coach, playing my role with a lot of dedication and work. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to win a title this season, which is something the club expects a lot, because it’s been in line for a long time, so every year there’s a lot of pressure because of that.”explained Sasha.

The midfielder added: “We didn’t manage to achieve that goal, but we were third, in front of huge teams like Panathinaikos and AEK, and it shows that we performed very well. In addition, we also guarantee a spot in the Conference League and we have to work hard to get there well at the beginning of the competition.”.

After his third season playing for Aris, Lucas Sasha highlighted the warm reception he has had from the fans since he arrived and evaluates playing in Greek football as a positive experience. However, despite having two more years on his contract, he does not rule out anything in his future, as he believes he is entering the final stretch of his career and wants to tread a path where he feels proud of himself when he no longer enters the pitch:

It’s a people who love football, so since I arrived, Aris’s fans have welcomed me very well and I’m very respected by them, as I respect them a lot too. It’s super gratifying to have your dedication recognized, I’ve always been very happy there. I have two more years on my contract with Aris, but we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. At first, I’m staying at the club for the next season, but I’m not thinking too much about the transfer window.”
