Shevadzutsky: Bakola has good power, speed and boxing skills, but I want to box with the best

The Ukrainian will hold his fight on Saturday in Polish Rzeszow

Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Igor Shevadzutsky (10-0, 8 KOs) spoke about the upcoming fight with Martin Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs).

“He is a very good fighter. He is boxing with strong opponents. He has good power and speed. He is physically strong and has good boxing skills. I know it’s not an easy fight for me. For the first time this is a big chance and my big fight. I’m ready”.

“You can box light opponents, you can go slow. But if you want to be the first heart and strength, you need to fight the best. I want to box with all the best.”

“He has legs, he has arms, just like me. Everyone can say a lot of words. But you don’t have to talk, you have to work and show results in the ring.”

Shevadzutsky’s duel with Bakole will take place on April 22. The fight will take place in Polish Rzeszow as part of the Boxxer and Knockout Promotions evening. Previously, the boxers held the weigh-in procedure.

In the last fight, 32-year-old Shevadzutsky defeated former WBC title contender, former rival Vitali Klitschko, American Kevin Johnson. Their duel took place in August last year as part of the EC Boxing show.

Bakole last fought in May 2022. Martin defeated Tony Yoka by majority decision. Also, the Congolese was twice among the sparring partners of Alexander Usik before the fights with Anthony Joshua.
