Earlier on Friday, the RFU Executive Committee Bureau approved the schedule structure for the next season. The starting round matches are scheduled for July 17. The first part of the season will end on November 13 in connection with the holding of the last part of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The RPL will resume on the weekend of March 4-5, with the 30th final scheduled for June 3.
In the coming season, 16 teams will play, the championship will be held in two rounds.
Last season, Zenit became RPL champions for the fourth consecutive time.
