The Malta Football Federation has announced – with an official note posted on its website – the suspension of former coach Davis Manjia. The coach, who has managed La Spezia, Ascoli and Bari in Serie B in recent years, resigned on November 7 after being suspended by MFA in September 2022. This decision was made after “improper conduct”; Manjia has been suspended from any football activity in Malta until he registers for a vocational training course, which he must complete within six months. Such a chosen course must be approved by the Foreign Office’s Safeguards Board.
