Former Tottenham and Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has won an appeal against the Disciplinary Committee of the International Football Federation (FIFA), which had previously extended his suspension at international level.
Paratici, who previously served as Juventus’ sporting director, was suspended in January by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) for 30 months in connection with a case against the Turin club linked to financial fraud. Initially, Paratici’s disqualification only extended to Italian football, allowing him to continue working at Tottenham, but after his international extension, the official was forced to leave the London club.
According to Goal, citing a statement issued by Paratici’s entourage, the Italian has won the appeal and will be able to return to work in the world of football, albeit with limited responsibilities.
FIFA has upheld an appeal filed by Fabio Paratici against the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, which extended his suspension to a ban on participation in any football-related activity. Paratici can continue to work in football with limited responsibilities, according to the report.
