With Tite’s refusal, Corinthians tries to remove Mano Menezes from Inter

Even negotiating with a coach who is already employed, with a contract valid until the end of this year, Corinthians believes that Mano Menezes is a possible name for the club. At first, the interest of the São Paulo club in Mano was informed by ‘UOL‘. With two spells at Corinthians, the coach would arrive to write his third chapter in the club’s history. In addition, with 248 games in charge of the team, he is the coach with the most appearances at Timão and could rise even further in the ranking, if the negotiation is confirmed.

In his first spell, Mano Menezes arrived at a difficult moment, with the club disputing the Serie B of the Brasileirão. However, the team had no difficulties in winning the title and returning to the elite of Brazilian football, in 2008. The following year, the coach continued in the position and was champion of the Brazil’s Cupwith a cast that included Ronaldo Phenomenon.

In his second spell, in 2014, the coach did not have the same success and failed to win titles.
