“Fakel fans can feast in a cafe. I’ve never played with such crazy support” – the author of the double against Dynamo

On Friday, Fakel beat Dynamo 2-0 on the road. Both goals for the winning team were scored by Gongadze. In total, the 27-year-old striker has already scored nine goals this season.

– You are 27 years old, you are having the best season of your career. What does it do?

– It’s really good. It’s work, hard work. Passed the second league, FNL. I tried to break into the elite.

There was never a time for me to give up. Even while playing in the amateur league, he always went for the goal. The hardest thing was when I was 21, when I was without a team for six months. But I trained, I worked – and I found an option in the second league.

– Why did they defeat Dynamo?

– Dynamo, in principle, had the advantage. We suffered, played more counterattacks. As a result, we managed to score in the fast breaks. They showed fighting qualities, endured and won.

Have you ever played with such incredible fan support as Fakel?

– No, this is my first team, where such crazy fan support.

It even happens that we go to eat somewhere with the guys – in a cafe, for example. And there are our fans – and they can regale us with water, juice and anything. We are always thanked in such moments. In general, I never heard any insults from our fans, so one of the players got offended. Only support.

– 9 goals in one season. What is your personal goal for the near future? Dream?

– I dream of leaving Fakel in the RPL. Everything is done for this. Every goal serves to ensure Fakel is in the RPL, Gongadze told .
