First adventure abroad Luciano Zauri, officially announced today as the new coach of Hamrun Spartans, a team that has just won the Maltese Championship and will be taking part in the preliminary rounds of the next Champions League. Zauri, who retired from Pescara in 2014, then went on to play for the Blues, first as Berretti’s coach, then as a technical officer, then as Primavera’s coach and finally on the bench in the first team twice, between June 2019 and January 2020 in B and last year in the last three league games and in the playoffs. In Hamrun, he takes the place of the Serb Branko Nisevich.
