The Phoenix Suns star became the third basketball player with such a deal after Michael Jordan and LeBron James
Star Forward Phoenix Suns Kevin Durant signed lifetime contract with Nike.
The company does not disclose the details of the contract with the basketball player. Prior to this, Kevin had personal fixed term agreements with the sports equipment giant for 16 years.
Durant became the third basketball player in Nike history to receive a lifetime contract. Michael Jordan and LeBron James previously made a similar deal. Also, the Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has a lifetime agreement with the company. Recall that in early April, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland signed a personal contract with Nike.
Phoenix passed the Clippers in the first round of the National Basketball Association playoffs. Durant will face Denver in the Western Conference Semifinals.
