Solomon double wins Israel over Albania in Nations League B Division match

Israel away won Albania (2:1) in the match of the third round of the group 2 division “B” League of Nations.

In stoppage time for the first half, Armando Broya converted a penalty and put the Albanians ahead.

After the break, the guests bounced back with the efforts of the winger Miner Manor Solomon. In the 73rd minute, a player from the Donetsk team scored one more goal and brought victory to Israel.

Israel leads Group 2, two points ahead of Iceland. Albania is third in the table. The Russian team was also supposed to play in Quartet 2, but it was not allowed to compete due to the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine.

On June 13, Israel will play away against Iceland. Albania on the same day will hold a friendly match with Estonia.
