Defender of Moscow “Spartacus” George Jikia admitted that currently he does not consider himself a coach after finishing his professional career.
– Today, at 30, I don’t see myself in coaching at all. It’s very hard work, sometimes putting yourself in the shoes of a coach and knowing how difficult it is for him, you don’t want to be a coach at all. Looking at the team I’m in now, through the eyes of a coach, where there are 25 players with their own character, their problems, their vision, it’s very hard work. If you’re a good soccer player, that doesn’t mean you’ll be a good coach. And vice versa, – said Jikia in an interview with the club’s press service.
