Bus with players Bulgaria national team football team had an accident in Georgia, according to the website of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFS).
The incident happened on the way to a hotel in Tbilisi, where the team arrived for a Nations League game. The driver of one of the two buses transporting the players lost control, resulting in a “serious” accident.
Midfielder Todor Nedelev taken to a local hospital for examination. All other team members and Bulgarian national team personnel were uninjured.
The Bulgarian side are third in League C Group 4 with two points from three games. The Georgia-Bulgaria match will take place in Tbilisi on Sunday.
