Lokomotiv striker Pedro Gabriel has denied allegations of domestic abuse

Moscow Striker Lokomotiv Pedro Gabriel on social media criticized the Brazilian’s decision Sao Paulo terminate his lease as part of the investigation into cases of domestic violence by declaring himself a victim of the situation.

The striker’s rental contract with Sao Paulo was calculated until the end of the season with the right to buy. Pedro Gabriel was suspended in March after his ex-girlfriend, Amanda Nunez, filed a police report into the soccer player’s threats and beatings.

– Due to the abusive termination of the contract by São Paulo, I declare that this decision is not entirely clear given the reality of the facts.

Unfortunately, the termination of the contract was based on a selective criminal leak of old and redacted messages, which law enforcement authorities did not perceive in my favor. I have waited and will wait for the slanderous accusation against me to be closed.

I repeat once again, respecting the secrecy of justice, that I did not attack anyone, but yes, they attacked me. To my knowledge, this gives me the opportunity to practice my profession,” wrote Gabriel.

The Brazilian’s contract with the Russian team is valid until July 2026. On September 28, in the match of the FONBET Cup of Russia against Khimki near Moscow (5-0), the striker scored four goals. In total, he played nine games for Lokomotiv, the Brazilian didn’t score more goals.

Pedro Gabriel was injured, from which he should recover towards the end of June. This year, the footballer has played 18 games in the Brazilian league and has one assist to his name.
